The children’s Hospital Korangi is the first project of the Sindh Institute of Child Health & Neonatology (SICHN) located in Korangi, Karachi, Pakistan. The Hospital project was officially started on August 22, 2023, with the aim of providing quality healthcare services to children area.
The Hospital has a total capacity of 150 beds and is equipped with modern medical facilities, including a fully functional Intensive Care Unit, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, pediatric OPD, and a range of specialized pediatric services. The Hospital is staffed by highly trained and experienced pediatricians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals who are committed to providing compassionate care to children in the region.
The hospital project was started as a part of the SICHN’s vision to improve the health and well-being of children in Pakistan, particularly in underprivileged areas. The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit offers inpatient and intensive care treatments for Newborns, providing the best possible specialized care to its tiny patients. The NICU is managed by experienced doctors and a nursing team to provide quality care. 59-bedded is equipped with State-of-the-art Ventilators, Oxygen Blender (High Flow), Syringe pumps, Advanced Monitoring systems, and Phototherapy Lights
